Many CRM employees start out with a college education but not a lot of practical experience in the industry. They need to “learn while they earn” through the types of work opportunities they take. But that earned experience takes time. As such, newer employees may not know how their work fits into the larger picture of compliance, preservation, and research practices. Because every project is different, we need to provide a better understanding of how and why projects are planned and implemented as they are.

The session will:

Help companies review their project lifecycle/project tracking materials and apply them, including establishing standard milestones to help track project from initiation to closeout

Help supervisors/team members understand their role in projects to empower their decision making and creativity on a project, and the relationship between individuals and teams

Help professors/classrooms understand the types of knowledge that will be valued in a candidate CRM practitioner
